Book at Bedtime

We are holding an event on Thursday 2nd March that proved to be very popular the last time we did this. Book at Bedtime involves the children coming along to school dressed in onesies or pyjamas or comfy clothes to listen to a bedtime story shared by one of our teachers in a cosy and relaxed setting. Children will have refreshments and take part in a short craft activity linking to reading. Whilst this is taking place, we invite parents to stay and listen to Mrs Haythorne speak about reading, how to help your children with reading both if they are reluctant or if they are whizzing ahead and also give an opportunity for you to ask questions about reading both in and out of school. Refreshments also provided so come and have a relaxing cuppa!

The last time we did this, a number of our parents learnt a lot from listening to what other parents did with their child to support reading development. if you and your child are interested in coming along, please complete the booking form on the link below as this helps us with catering. We look forward to seeing you there at 5.30pm!
